Bnei-Brak – reaching out to children with ADHD in the Talmudey Torah
In Bnei Brak, a program for children with ADHD was opened, supported by and in cooperation with the Fund for Children at Risk, part of the National Insurance Institute, and in conjunction with the Bnei Brak Municipality. Rabbi Mordecai Be’eri, a senior educational advisor of long standing with Achiya and other educational institutions state wide, will head the program The identification program will take place in the Talmudey Torah will include 1,000 children yearly. Children identified will receive the variety of treatments needed to help them discover their abilities. Both the teaching staff and the parents of these children will be given appropriate guidance as to how to help the children cope with difficulties stemming from their problems.
