Psychodrama Therapy in the Schools

The Municipality of Bnei Brak is working  together with Achiya to provide therapeutic psychodrama groups to children aged 8 to 11 with severe social problems. The groups take place within the ultra-orthodox boys’ schools, during school hours. Many of the children participating in the groups are victims of abuse. In addition to the weekly therapeutic groups, Achiya’s psychodrama therapist, Ariel Neufeld, meets regularly with the parents, teachers and school administration, to assure that everyone involved in the child’s education work together for the child’s benefit.
