new_icon_englishHead of Department: Ms. Hilli ben Tzvi Feld – B.A. and M.A. in speech pathology from the University of Tel Aviv. In addition to her work at Achiya, Ms. Feld is a speech therapist in several hospitals, supervises an interdisciplinary clinic in Rosh Haayin, and runs a private practice. She oversees a staff of 12 experienced speech and language therapists, all with either a B.A. or M.A. in speech pathology.

 

  new_icon_english2Head of Department: Ms. Soffie Cohen – B.A. in PT from University of Tel Aviv and graduate of the prestigious Bobath Center for neurodevelopment. Ms. Cohen specializes in treating premature infants with neurological disabilities. Ms. Cohen oversees a staff of 5 experienced physiotherapists, all with either an M.A. or B.A. in physiotherap.

 

 new_icon_english3Head of Department: Ms. Rivka Illowitz - B.A. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Tel Aviv, M.A. in Occupational Therapy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Ms. Illowitz specializes in dysgraphia (writing disorders) and sensory integration disorders. Ms. Illowitz oversees a staff of 10 experienced occupational therapists, all with either an M.A. or B.A. in Occupational Therapy.

 

 new_icon_english5Head of Department: Ms. Maya Sarig - B.A. in Physical Therapy from the University of Haifa, and graduate of Wingate’s Hydrotherapy Training Program. Before coming to Achiya, Ms. Sarig was a hydro-therapist and physical therapist at the Children’s Rehabilitation Department at the Sheba Medical Center of Tel Hashomer Hospital in Tel Aviv. Ms. Sarig oversees a staff of five hydro-therapists, including two who specialize in evaluations and planning a course of treatment, as well as 2 lifeguards. To read more

 

 new_icon_english4Head of Department: Ms. Itta Margolit – B.A. Education, Michlalah Jerusalem College, B.A Special Ed., Michlalah Jerusalem College, Graduate of the Program for Creative Therapies at Michlalah Jerusalem College, Graduate of the Program for Treating Survivors of Sexual Abuse at the Haruv Institute, Jerusalem.  Ms. Margolit oversees a staff of seven experienced and professional therapists, each specializing in one of the subspecialties of Creative Arts Emotional Therapy.  new_icon_english6Head of Department: Ms. Sharon Moscowitz - BSW University of Bar Illan, presently completing a MSW from the University of Haifa. Ms. Moscowitz provides parental guidance and therapy for children in therapy at Achiya, teaching parents new tools to deal with their children’s problems and assist their children in achieving their potential.
